Are there Dugons in Kiwayu?

Mikes Camp had a meeting with the WWF and KWS on the forgotten species the Dugon, Kiwayu is famous for its healthy dugon population…yet is it a myth? How many have been spotted in the last year? One baby was cought in a net and released in 2009 and fishermen from Rubu, North of Kiwayu have spoken of sightings of an adult there..or a few adults, they dont know if they are seeing the same one. WWF are now talking of launching a major Dugon survay in the Kiunga Marine Reserve. We like this
